June Full Moon Walk
What a fabulous Full Moon Walk we had on the summer solstice! A lovely group of people and a wonderfully clear, warm, evening after a solid morning of heavy rain. Walking from the Coastguard's Cottages on Dunwich Cliff Tops, we crossed the heath, cut through Minsmere (and had a look at the bird life from the Island Meare Hide) across to the Sluice and then back up the beach to the sight of the moon reflected on the water. As we were celebrating not only the solstice but also Nick's 60th Birthday (on that day) we finished with a glass of Champagne and toasted life! What could be better? We can't guarantee Champagne every time, but we welcome our yurt guests to join us and we always have fun! The July full moon is Tuesday 19th (and we still have space left in one yurt, Yellowhammer, if you are tempted!).
