The best of the lovely warm sunshine is in the East of England and it's glorious! The evenings are warm, the sunsets are gorgeous - perfect campfire conditions. The schools have gone back and we have availability in some of the yurts and Bell Tent this week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday nights 3rd/4th/5th September). If you fancy making the most of our lovely summer (the sea is still lovely and warm) then get your orders in now. We're keen to see them go, so we're offering a 25% discount on bookings - minimum 2 night stay.
Our lovely Bell Tent guests, Tom and Kirsty, cooked up a storm on their BonFire tripod over the campfire and they sent us some photos of the things they'd cooked - courgettes from the field, chives in the omlette from the herb bed, cherries and raspberries (first time we've managed to keep any cherries from the pigeons!) and wilted spinach and new potatoes from the veg beds. The SoulPad Bell Tent is proving a hit with our guests and we've been really pleased to have it up this year; it's been a bit of an experiment and one that we're very pleased with.
Late Availability in Bell Tent!
Just a quick up-date in the very busy summer season! All the yurts are full for August, but we have 5 nights free in Bell Tent from this Sunday (11th). The forecast is looking good and Bell Tent is beautifully equipped for the best of under-canvas experiences, complete with BonFire tripod, dutch oven (stewpot) grill and coffee pot/kettle - have a look at the photos on our Gallery to whet your appetite. Our minimum stay is 2 nights, so if you want to come, get your skates on!
Full Moon Night Walk event
We're really looking forward to our Night Walk event in September! Travel Journalist and author Dixe Wills is joining us here at Ivy Grange Farm to introduce our yurt guests to the delights of Night Walking. We're taking advantage of the Full Moon for a fun 8 mile walk round the local lanes, footpaths, shoreline and estuaries.
It's official, the BBC weather forecast has announced that summer begins on Friday. And good news for yurt-lovers - we have availability for next week and want to share our joy at the arrival of summer by offering some special prices for one week only! Between 7-11 July we're offering the following deal on our yurts, with savings of up to a third! 2 nights for £160 (saving£40); 3 nights for £220 (saving £50); 4 nights for £280 (saving £80) 5 nights for £340 (saving £110).
Win a two-night break!
Britten Cententary Accommodation
Planning to attend one of the fantastic Benjamin Britten Centenary events? Then why not make it into an event to be remembered and book a couple of nights (or more!) with us here at Ivy Grange Farm. Just up the coast from Aldeburgh, we're handy and, if you fancy taking to the roads on 2 wheels, you can borrow our bikes and pedal off for your culture fix. There are some fantastic events taking place, check out this link for details.
Stop press! Late availability
We've had a late cancellation on some yurt bookings for the weekend of 7th and 8th June, and therefore have unexpected late availability. Choose from either Woodpecker, Lapwing or Bell Tent. These are all next to each other and are great whether you want to come up with friends or just take one yurt for a relaxing weekend away from it all. THESE HAVE NOW GONE, SORRY! Though we've still got plenty to choose from during the week - take a look at the availability page.
Bell Tent has arrived!
Special Offer Mid-Week Glamping!
Special offer till the end of May - 4 nights for the price of 3 in any of our yurts or Bell Tent for any mid-week booking (Sunday-Thursday night inclusive). Come and sample the delights of Ivy Grange Farm glamping, with your own campfire pit, bar-b-q and cooking facilities right in the heart of beautiful Suffolk, with lots of see and do.
